KitKat 4.4 was released last year and since January of this year Samsung has been rolling it out to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The phablet was supposed to have finished being updated by now but it seems that this isn’t so.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is still pending for update it seems and among those still waiting for the update are owners of the handset on Verizon. Bear in mind that this is the biggest carrier in the US, so you do have to wonder what is taking them so long and why they haven’t started to send out the update.
However it isn’t just Verizon who are slow. Optus, the Australian carrier is also slow and their handset is still waiting to get an update.
Verizon are known for keeping updates a secret and Big Red has managed to do this in a way that we cannot predict when the update is going to arrive. All we know is that it will happen at some point.
Now those who own the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Verizon have been assured that they will get the update soon as Verizon are not going to want to be the only carrier not to offer the update, while the smaller ones have.
