There have been rumors going around that the Samsung Galaxy Note release date on T-Mobile is now set for August 8, reports SlashGear. Previously they had said that customers would be able to get their hands on the device from 11th July but new dates, which are said to be from internal documents of T-Mobile, suggest that the Note is actually only available in stores much later.
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note release date tipped for August 8
This of course is a large gap since the launch of the device back in November internationally, and even AT&T got the device on February 19th. It is also thought that the Note 2 will be launched in September or October, so it makes sense that customers of T-Mobile will not be too happy if the Note is released in that time frame.
The AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy Note comes with the Snapdragon Qualcomm S3 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It also has 1GB of RAM and has support for LTE. It is not certain if the Galaxy Note on T-Mobile will have the same specs but if we had to guess it should be the same but without LTE and running the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich update.
Meanwhile the follow up, the Note 2, is thought to have a 5.5 inch screen, which is slightly larger than its predecessor and the screen should be Super AMOLED HD. It should also come with an Exynos quad core processor. If these speculations hold true then not only will it be a threat to Galaxy Note 1 sales but Galaxy S3 too.
