As Kellex on DroidLife astutely mentions; the end of Q2 is next Saturday so Motorola haven’t got long to ensure all bugs have been fixed on all the test builds. The device will then be passed on to members of the Motorola Feedback Network to have them test it for problems, and once they get the all clear, it will be passed on to the general public, meaning next Saturday is not out of the question.

Today a Droid Life reader told them that the 6.16.211 build is the most recent device to be tested and “has been spotted through Cheesecake over at DroidRzr.com. This means that if all is ok, it could be released publicly.

On a side note, rumors are running rampant of the impending launch of the successors to both RAZR devices. Called the Motorola DROID RAZR HD, it is expected to come preloaded with Ice Cream Sandwich and pack a bunch of upgrades over the MAXX models including a larger display, full Kevlar rear (including edges) and on-screen keys.
