Today US fans of the anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3 were pleased to find pre-order along with pricing information had been posted on the Verizon website for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Networks T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular were all quick to follow on very soon after. It was only yesterday when it was announced that five of the major carriers in the US would offer the phone with a 4.8 inch screen, SoC and 2GB of RAM.
AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile & Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3
As all carriers have now listed information on their website, including AT&T so here is what you can expect.
Verizon – 16GB for $199.99 and 32GB for $249.99. Pre-order from June 6th; AT&T – 16GB for $199.99 or the 16GB with 16GB SD card for $238.99. Pre-order from June 6th; Sprint – 16GB for $199.99 and 32GB for $249.99. Pre-order June 5th and purchase on June 21st; T-Mobile – no price given. Purchase June 21st.; and US Cellular – no price given. Pre-order June 12th. Microsite June 5th.
The phone comes with the Snapdragon 1.5GHz processor and 2GB RAM on all of the networks as Samsung said they would and launch dates for the handset are all in the same region, providing of course that there are no hold-ups. So it looks like Samsung has finally managed to match Apple’s iPhone when it comes to US launch schedules. Here’s hoping they continue to keep things unifiied in the US.
On a side note, AT&T is expected to get a special red color option of the Samsung Galaxy S3 as well. I haven’t been much of a fan of pebble blue so can’t wait to see how the red looks on S3.
