This year’s E3 has already concluded and to the disappointment of many, Square Enix did not reveal on when Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released.
This totally contradicts to the many rumours, including the article from KPopStarz, which is titled “Kingdom Hearts 3 release date announcement confirmed for E3: Xbox One, PS4 fans rejoice.” The latter failed to indicate on when Kingdom Hearts 3 will make its debut, thus, meaning that it is nothing more than a crowd puller.
On the other hand, the article did produce an interesting new clue. The writer revealed that he went to check on the list of games coming to the PS4 and realized that Kingdom Hearts 3 is not part of the list.
There could be two different meaning to this. First, it is the fact that Kingdom Hearts 3 will only come next year. Second, Square Enix has yet to decide on the game’s release date which is why it has yet to feature on this year’s list of games coming to the PS4.
While it would be nice to hope for the second possibility, we believe it is the first. After all, Square Enix has said it so many times before that Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be the biggest title in the franchise’s history. Something that big requires a lot of time and effort to develop.
