Both the Xiaomi Mi 3 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 are two of the best smartphones from 2013 and today, both devices are very cheap to own. However, we encourage you to get the S5 ahead of the Mi 3 and here’s why.
The S5 has a larger display. In figures, it has a 5.1” screen that develops 432ppi whereas the Xiaomi Mi 3 has a 5” screen that develops 441ppi. While the Mi 3 is still sharper, the difference is too small to notice.
To add to that, the S5 is also faster in performance as it runs on the newer Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The Mi 3 is behind on this field as it runs on the Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM to offer.
Then there are the cameras. The Galaxy S5 features a sharp 16MP rear shooter and a 2.1MP front camera. The Mi 3 only has 13MP rear camera to offer with 2MP fixed on its front.
To seal the victory for the S5, the device has tons of features to offer like turbo downloading, fingerprint scanner and many more. The Mi 3, on the other hand, is just another basic smartphone with high-end specs.
