Each year for the last five years Samsung have launched a new Galaxy S device and each of them has been more successful than the last. This year is thought to be no exception to that rule as Samsung recently announced the Samsung Galaxy S5.
You cannot get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy S5 just yet and Samsung have said that it will arrive on 11 April around the world.
However carriers in the US don’t have that good a name when it comes to releasing new hardware. In the past there haven’t been any issues with the release of the Samsung Galaxy phones and we hope this will apply to this year too. Verizon are usually the worst of the bunch, but let’s hope that this isn’t the case with the Samsung Galaxy S5.
In the past they have also refused to release certain handsets, we saw this with the HTC One.
When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Verizon has confirmed that they will offer it and it will have the model number of SM-G900V.
So it does look like they will offer the Samsung Galaxy S5, so let’s hope they offer it on the same day as it is released.
