Verizon is among the first to offer their Galaxy S4 users the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update. They can start applying the OS by going through the Software Update option on the device’s settings.
Some of the changes coming with the KitKat 4.4.2 for the Galaxy S4 include an improved UI, white KitKat status icons, improved camera features, App Drawer, new menus, tweak S features, faster interface, improved battery life, smoother transitions and an enhanced Android experience.
As for the Verizon version of the KitKat for the Galaxy S4, they will get access to more multi-window support, Google+ Photos changes to Photos, Create Multi-Window Combination feature, Play Magazine now working as Play Newsstand, ISIS Wallet, Verizon Wallet and Google Hangouts SMS support.
Other Samsung devices that have gotten the KitKat 4.4.2 are the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
