Fans of the Unchartered series should be familiar with the name Amy Hennig. The series’ writer and director has brought the franchise to where it is today and while working on Unchartered 4, Amy resigned.
Now, Amy is part of Visceral Games which is popular for its Dead Space series. She assumes the role of creative director for a future Star Wars game coming from the studio. The game developer’s VP and GM, Steve Papoutsis, is rather excited to have Amy on board the team.
Speaking on EA blog, the lad revealed that both Amy and he have been in discussion on how the former would like to start in her new career. Knowing that the studio is working on Star Wars, Amy couldn’t resist it and pushes to part of the project.
Amy Hennig is definitely a great addition considering the many awards she has won with Unchartered. She has collaborated with Steve before and the latter is excited to be working with her again.
At the moment, Amy is entirely focused on Star Wars. It is unknown on what the game will be like and about as it is still too early in its production. On the other hand, Amy might just board on the Dead Space train.
