Titanfall is coming to the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in 8 days from now. This highly anticipated gaming title has so much hype to it despite being a brand new franchise from Respawn Entertainment.
Titanfall will be a multiplayer online First Person Shooter game and like most games in the same genre, there are bound to be DLCs coming in the future.
Knowing this, the DLC is expected to be chargeable and the fans are definitely not happy with this. Instead of paying for each DLC individually, Respawn came out and announced that there will be a season pass following Titanfall’s release.
There will be a one-time payment for the pass and with it; players will get access to all the DLCs and even exclusive contents at a much cheaper price.
Previously, Vince Campella revealed that no such thing will happen. The co-founder tweeted that that the game won’t have a season pass.
The community manager, Abbie Heppe, corrected the statement and said that there will be a season pass. In addition to that, the game developer is already considering adding the pilot-only mode I the future.
This was followed up with a tweet from Titanfall official account which apologizes for the confusion and agreed with what Abbie mentioned.
All in all, we are days’ away from the game’s release and there certainly is an explosion of excitement from the first generation Titanfall fans.
