Following the beta release of Titanfall, players got hooked and fell in love with the game. However, that didn’t stop some loudmouths to request for a mode where the AI is not part of the game.
Respawn Entertainment community manager, Abbie Heppe, responded to this request known as Pilot-only mode. It is said that such a thing won’t be in Titanfall when it gets released. However, the game developer hints on the possibility of it coming as a DLC in the future.
Titanfall’s game director also revealed that there have been discussions on a Pilot-only mode. However, it is still being discussed on and there has yet to be the final decision. On the other hand, it wasn’t that long ago when the studio completely denied the idea and stressed the name of the game, Titanfall.
Majority of the fans are hoping for this idea not to materialize. Losing the AI and having Titans throughout the game will certainly spoil the unique gaming experience that Titanfall has got to offer. In simpler terms, a Pilot-only mode will make Titanfall look like a carbon copy of your average Call of Duty game.
Nevertheless, such a mode is still on the table and subject to confirmation. As for Titanfall, pilots better prepare themselves as it is 10 days away from its debut.
