There are some games that offer much more fun and comfort when playing with a controller and there are others that works best with the keyboard and mouse. Little can be argued that when it comes to FPS titles, it will work best with the PC.
The upcoming debut of Titanfall has got everyone of their seat. The hype that builds up on this Microsoft exclusive title is intense and many gamers have already added it to their wish list. However, the hype is vanishing with every news that surfaces regarding Titanfall.
Previously, Respawn revealed that the game will be limited to a small capacity lobby which is a turn off to FPS fans. Now, the game developer has made a fool out of themselves by adding aim assist to the PC.
FPS for the consoles requires aim assist as handheld controllers are not capable of quick, accurate and responsive aiming. As for the PC, the traditional mouse and keyboard is enough to offer all three quick, accurate and responsive aiming.
The game developer came out with their worst statement on Twitter quoting that there is controller aim assist for PC. For a start, no PC gamer would result to using controllers for an FPS game. In fact, there is no need for aim assist at all. Respawn clearly doesn’t has a clue about PC gaming.
With all that in mind, gamers are now reconsidering getting Titanfall. Perhaps they would wait and judge the game for themselves before deciding to make the purchase when Titanfall gets released.
