Hearthstone might have to watch out because CD Projekt Red might be coming after them.
In the game The Witcher 3, beside the main game, players could also take part in Gwent games to win collectible cards and some gold. The strategy card game was an instant hit with the fans and the fans have been asking CD Projekt Red to turn it into a separate game altogether.
CD Projekt Red never indicated that they will be doing so but NerdLeaks is now reporting that CD Projekt Red gas just trademarked Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. They even have the logo for the game.
We still do not know what CD Projekt Red has planned for Gwent but this does suggest that we might be seeing more of it in the future. With E3 2016 just around the corner, maybe we might hear more about it next week?
