Ever since The Witcher 3 was released, fans have been waiting and hoping that CDPR would reveal something about a possible in Witcher game in the future. We know that CDPR has made it clear that the Blood and Wine DLC will be the last time we will be playing Geralt but that does not mean that CDPR will never revisit the universe again in the future.
We can still play as another Witcher or maybe Ciri. With all her history and power, we think Ciri would make a great protagonist. Of course, even if CDPR does decide to create a new Witcher game, we will most likely have to wait until after 2020 before we will see it.
According to CDPR, their upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 will be arriving in between 2017 to 2021. We do not think that the game will be arriving this year. If they complete it in 2018, it would take another 4 years or more to complete a new Witcher game so there is no point thinking about it right now.
