Recently Redmond Pie said that the recent version of iOS jailbreak would work with millions of Apple handsets even though installing the jailbreak would not come without issues.
Evasi0n 7 may be installed on any device that runs on iOS 7.1 beta 3, however it remains in the unofficial status for that iOS edition. This means that handset owners should not be too surprised to find issues cropping up.
There could also be glitches in regards to compatibility with Cydia, which is where the tweaks and apps for a jailbroken iPhone arrive from. Many apps are said to be in the beta stage now, which should raise red flags among owners.
When Evasi0n 7 came out, jailbreaking fans were surprised that the Evad3rs had left out Cydia and instead gone with Taig, who is based in China, then as an afterthought added Cydia back in.
While fans wait for the full version instead of beta apps and tweaks, GottaBeMobile and LifeHacker have told us about some Evasi0n companions.
Activator – This tool allows users to take full charge of iPhone and iPad control keys and multi-touch functions, which is not possible with the official iOS 7.
Virtual Home – When paired with TouchID on the iPhone 5S, Virtual Home become an indispensable tool that makes device navigation smooth and easy.
CCControl – As expected, when Apple finally included an easily accessible Control Centre on the latest batch of iOS devices, jailbreak users would want for more. The answer to their clamour is CCControl, the main appeal of which is straightforward configuration.
BatterySafe – All iOS devices are reliable already when it comes to energy juice. But with BatterySafe, iPhones and iPads last longer than published by Apple.
iCleaner Pro – With the internal storage fixed and no prospect of extension, best way to maximise iPhone and iPad digital rooms is to shred non-essential contents and free up precious space. No doubt, iCleaner Pro is up to the task.
SwitchSpring – This tool is very useful in freeing device resources, RAM specifically, by simultaneously killing running but unused apps.
TetherMe – Transforms an iPad or iPhone into a Wi-Fi hotspot that allows shared wireless Internet access.
Swipey – Allows users to place shortcuts of favourite apps right on the lock screen. This tweak essentially acts as an app launcher.
CyDelete7 – And when Cydia-based apps are no longer needed, CyDelete7 does the work just like in the native iOS environment
