Sony had just launched the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Xperia Z3. Come next week, the Japanese tech giant will be looking to offer the same treat for the older, Xperia Z2.
Also, Sony will be launching the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Z2 in like how they did with the Z3 – starting with Australia before reaching out to the rest of the world.
This is further confirmed by Aussie’s carrier, Vodafone, when they revealed that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Xperia Z2 will be pushed out via OTA in Oceana before going to other parts of the world.
While both Vodafone and Sony has yet to indicate a specific date for the Z2’s update, we can expect it to come somewhere next week.
