Sony has launched the Lavender over in Hong Kong and soon, the device is going to get shipped here in the US. The Lavender is Sony’s latest selfie-focused smartphone and here is what we know about the device so far.
For starters, it is worth noting that the Lavender is going to be produced as part of the E55 Series from Sony. The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6752 64Bit 1.7GHz Octa-Core that is paired to 2GB of RAM. This basically confirms that the Lavender is going to be powerful.
It is unsure on how big the display will be but what is for certain is that the Lavender will be running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop system out of the box. The special thing about the Lavender is its front-facing camera that is 13MP in size.
The front camera is claimed to be as good as the rear cameras on major flagship smartphones. Sony decided that it is high time for them to produce a high-end selfie device thus the Lavender is born. More details on the smartphone like pricing and availability will surely be revealed in the coming weeks.
