The arrival of the Xperia Z3+ surprised everyone because it came out running on the problematic Snapdragon 810 SoC from Qualcomm. The processor basically caused the Z3+ to overheat extensively.
Many thought Sony is going to be the game changer because it is the last manufacturer to apply Snapdragon 810 on its device. The thing is that they are aware of the issue with the component but they decided to apply it on the Z3+.
This basically suggests that Sony might have the solution to end the overheating issues for good. Unfortunately, the unfortunate occurred and it caused the Z3+ to heat up all the time.
Well, Sony is not giving up just yet. They admit on the mistake but they are also revising the device to give a solution. Sony claims that they are working on a minor update that can end the overheating issue.
