With the kind of progress Samsung has been having with the foldable screen, some fans are speculating that we might see a new foldable device from Samsung in the near future.
Of course, we have not heard from Samsung yet but it is believed that Samsung might be working on a new smartphone that will also work as a tablet and that the device will be called the “smartlet”
ETNews reported that the device will have a 5inch display screen in smartphone form and a 7inch display screen in tablet form. The device will come with the Samsung OLED display that will allow the screen to be bent in half.
It was added that the device will head into production at the end of this year and will be released in 2017. To make things even more believable, there is also a Samsung patent that describes how the foldable device will work.
