Following the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S5 during the Mobile World Congress, there has been a lot of buzz regarding this upcoming 5th generation Galaxy S phone. The debate has been hot as many tries to predict if the S5 will make it or break it.
Just after the announcement, the Galaxy S5 appears to carry a record breaking potential. Mobile phone retailer, Carphone Warehouse, revealed that the pre-registration for the Galaxy S5 has accumulated 130% more people than that of its predecessor, the Galaxy S4.
The pattern appears to be similar in the US as well. T-Mobile announced that the pre-registration for the Galaxy S5 has summed up to 100,000 in two days. This is a brand new record when it comes to pre-registration.
Pre-registration is that 10 days period where consumers provide their details and get updates on the phone until they receive it.
It is all good news for Samsung and the critics are already scratching their heads in shock. Nevertheless, the real deal happens when the Samsung Galaxy S5 gets released on 11 April 2014.
