It has finally happened. After months of anticipation, Samsung has completed the unveiling of its Galaxy S5. While the device’s popularity went off the chart prior to the launching, things soon turned sour as the rumours that have been building towards the unveiling are all wrong.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 had caused plenty of excitement as fans have been led to believe that a curved screen, metal-body and a new design will be the key features of the Galaxy S5. However, things went the other way round as all of the expected features appears to be absent from the smartphone.
The Galaxy S5 still has that plastic coating and there isn’t a curved display to begin with. It seems that Samsung is playing it safe with this latest device.
In reality, the Galaxy S5 features a 5.1 inch display, a slightly improved processor and Full HD resolution. However, not all consumers would mind on the smartphone’s performance. Almost every device in the high-end range has about the same specifications. The biggest disappointment is with the S5’s unappealing looks.
It is definitely a wonder to why Samsung find it so hard to produce smartphone which carries a sense of value. The iPhones, HTCs, and even Nokia are able to make an appealing premium phone.
Nevertheless, the Galaxy S5 is no longer a mystery and it is not even a major game-changer. This latest device is merely an upgrade from the Galaxy S4.
