One of the most popular handsets to come out this year has been the Samsung Galaxy S4. If you have bought the device you will want to get the most you can from the battery life and so here are some hints and tips.
You can turn off email sync on the device and check every 15 or so minutes for email. The longer you leave it between checks, the more battery you are going to save.
You should not let the handset drain down the battery to the point where it turns off. So you may want to keep it plugged in whenever possible.
If you don’t plan on using hotspot or GPS turn these off as they can drain down the battery.
If you have apps on your handset that you are not using you should un-install them. This is to stop them from using background processes which tend to drain the battery. Always keep apps up-to-date that you do use.
If all else fails you can back up the Samsung Galaxy S4 and factory reset it and then put the data back onto the handset.
