Samsung might have experienced some ups and downs throughout its tenure in the smartphone and tablet industry but everything is in constant incline when it comes to the phablets category. The success of the Galaxy Note is undeniable and it is going to get a whole lot better with its future successor.
It appears that Samsung is starting to produce 4GB DDR3 RAM for smartphones based on the 20nm process. At the moment, the largest RAM size is 3GB developed for the Galaxy Note 3. Now, a 4GB RAM is well on its way and looking to make it into the Galaxy Note 4 coming at the end of this year.
On another note, Samsung is also rumoured to be working on its own 64bit processor. Perhaps this is true since such a processor can easily support 4GB of RAM. Other perks of this comes with the 20nm technology which ensures a much better battery life. Some revealed that the 20nm process is 25% more energy efficient.
The recent unveiling of the Galaxy S5 smartphone might look good but in reality, it is still circling on the same stuffs and there is nothing special about it. Perhaps Samsung will look to the Galaxy Note 4 and make it a revolution.
