The Samsung Galaxy S5 might get all the attention at the moment. Most tech analyst is trying to plot out on how big is the difference between this upcoming device and the existing Galaxy S4. As for us, we put the S5 against the latest Galaxy Note 3.
The Note 3 is obviously the bigger of the two as it is built to be a phablet. As such, it is heavier than the Galaxy S5. Both share the same display prowess offering a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Since the S5 is smaller than the Note 3, the ppi on this upcoming device is much better.
As for the processing power, the Note 3 is second best to the S5. This upcoming device is running on the latest quad-core Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.5GHz with 2GB RAM. However, the Note 3 is not far off with its Snapdragon 800 with 3GB RAM.
The other major difference between the two is with the rear camera. The S5 has more pixel capacity boasting a 16MP rear camera compared to the 13MP on the phablet.
Of course, the S5 is treated with brand new features like the heartbeat sensor and a fingerprint scanner. The icing on the cake would be with the waterproof and dustproof feature on the S5.
Without these new features, there isn’t a huge difference between the two devices. The Galaxy S5 is expected to debut on April 11. On the other hand, the upcoming Note 4 is tipped to be better than the S5.
