Samsung Galaxy Note 3 KitKat Update: Houston, We Have A Problem

The latest Galaxy Note 3 is among the best smartphones out there but sadly to say, it has not received the best services from Samsung which it truly deserves.

The latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat is already obtained by the device manufacturer and while it is already released back in January, there is still a huge number of Galaxy Note 3 which has yet to acquire them.

Of course, Samsung did mention that they will take things slow with the KitKat’s roll out. In February, the pace picks up on updating the Note 3. It reached full throttle in March. It is April now and there are still many un-updated phablets out there.

The most notable is with Australian-carrier Optus. Its Note 3 variant was scheduled for the KitKat update from early to mid-April. Now, the telco claims that they have yet to receive the update for testing. The testing phase itself will eat up a couple of weeks on average. If so, then the KitKat won’t arrive in April after all.

Such a thing also affected Optus global counterparts like Telstra and Vodafone. In America, it is with Verizon. Surprisingly, the Big Red has yet to update its Note 3 to the latest Kit Kat.

With this draggy roll out, there is a growing fear that the KitKat update will deviate from its initial purpose and that is to fix all the issues from the previous OS. This is due to the many features in Galaxy S5 which could be added in the Samsung KitKat as well.

The Korean company better start addressing the matter as it is unfair for the Note 3 users who have yet to get their hands on the KitKat.
