One device that stole the hearts of both consumers and developers alike is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Owners of the device will be pleased to hear that there is a custom Jelly Bean 4.2 ROM available for anyone who owns the international version of the device. Before going ahead you do have to check out the requirements which are:
You need to have at least 70% batter on your handset.
You should switch of security on your computer and your device.
Make sure that you have enabled USB debugging.
You should have CWM installed on your device.
You need to download the ROM and also check for information you need to know.
Make sure that you have installed the USB drivers onto the computer.
You can now go ahead and follow the instructions to install the ROM.
Connect your Galaxy Note 2 to the computer and copy the custom ROM and the Google Apps package into the Note 2 SD card.
Switch off the Note 2 and reboot into Recovery mode (press and hold the Volume up + Volume down + Power keys simultaneously)
Create an Android backup for your current ROM which in case you need to restore it later.
Perform wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition and wipe Dalvik cache.
Begin installing the ROM by selecting “install zip from SD card > choose zip from SD card.” Choose the custom ROM zip file you have copied earlier.
Repeat previous step but this time, select the Google App zip file instead.
Once the installation is complete, go back to the main menu and select “reboot system now.”
Don’t worry if it takes longer than usual to reboot your handset, this is normal. If all has gone well you should have Jelly Bean 4.2 running on your handset and be able to enjoy all that the Cyanogen team, AOKP and ParanoidAndroid offers.
