It wasn’t that long ago when Capcom releases Resident Evil 6. Despite it being the sixth sequel to the prestigious franchise, Resident Evil 6 has been disappointing in every way.
As a matter of fact, it has been so long since a great Resident Evil game got released. Last we saw was with Resident Evil 4 and following that was a series of disappointments.
Now, it seems that Capcom is looking to commence Resident Evil 7’s development. GamingBolt spotted the game developer launching its Resident Evil app on its Facebook page. Such an action is commonly practiced whenever the game has reached a certain milestone or accomplishment. Of course, the next sequel is often dubbed as the celebration for this accomplishment.
With that in mind, the release of Resident Evil app may very well hint that a Resident Evil 7 is commencing development. While most achievements are often accompanied by a great game, fans of this dying franchise can only hope that Resident Evil 7 to live up to that belief.
If this is true, then expect Resident Evil 7 to debut on the PS4 and Xbox One. With a fans being vocal with their feelings, there is a slight possibility that Resident Evil 7 will give the fans the horror that they’ve missed.
