Capcom has already commenced production of the next major sequel to the Resident Evil series and the upcoming title looks like it is going to come with the horror-genre intact.
This was unofficially confirmed when a leak screenshot for Resident Evil 7 surfaced online and it suggests that the game will be returning to Racoon City.
The location was the setup for the first Resident Evil trilogy and back then, everything was gruesome and horrifying. As such, there is a huge chance for Resident Evil 7 to come out with the same feat.
If the leak is to become official, then Resident Evil 7 will surely be a successful title. After all, fans of the franchise have been waiting for the series to return to its horror ways, not a fast-paced action like how it was since Resident Evil 4.
