It wasn’t that long ago when Resident Evil 6 got released and Capcom has been very obvious in hinting out Resident Evil 7’s development. After much criticism from the fans since Resident Evil 4, the game developer has finally touched on the genre subject.
According to AssociatedNews, former Capcom marketing leader, Michael Pattison revealed that the game developer has been revising the fans’ feedback. Michael added that it is difficult for Capcom as the company has to find the perfect balance between appeasing the fans and getting good review scores.
However, things are going the fans way with Resident Evil 7. Michael claims that the upcoming sequel will return to its traditional horror roots. The lad revealed that The Last of Us has been pretty successful with what it has done which means that there is some success with the horror content.
Capcom has reconsidered the direction which Resident Evil has been taking and promises the 7th title to offer plenty of horror for the fans.
