The Pokedex in Pokemon X & Y is more complex compared to all the previous Pokemon games. If you think you’ve captured every Pokemon and completed the Pokedex, you might want to do some checking.
One player revealed that he has acquired every Pokemon and even achieved the Oval Charm as well as the certificates but the Pokedex still has yet to be completed. The issue seems to be with the Buizel that came from previous generation Pokemon games. The player added that the he fixed it via catching the Kalos version of Buizel.
This confirms that players have to catch the Kalos version of the same Pokemon instead of abusing the trade or the Kalos Dex won’t be completed. Those Pokemon from previous gen have to be hatched in Kalos in other for it to be accounted for.
Completing the Pokedex in X & Y can be a tedious task. As such, players are recommended to make full use of the Pokemon network and find themselves some buddy to complete the Pokedex.
