Activision Keen To Make Amends On COD Ghosts With Black Ops 3 It Appears

Call of Duty: Ghosts has hardly been out and Activision is already plugging away on the next instalment! The game developer confirmed this fact during its latest conference call.

The COD franchise isn’t ready to hang up its boots yet, as it’s one of the biggest earners the company has. If previous release patterns are any guide, Treyarch will probably come in to create the third Black Ops title.

Sledgehammer Games – part of the team that worked on Modern Warfare – is still working with Activision so there might be a fourth episode too.

It seems that as the years pass, Call of Duty is losing its fun factor. Call of Duty: Ghosts hardly touched upon the capabilities of the new consoles, so it’s high time that Activision made a game that really shows what the PS4 and Xbox One can do.

We can, then, expect the new Call of Duty game to come out this year – probably in Q4. Activision is also bringing out Destiny, Hearthstone, Skylanders, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls and some new World of Warcraft content.
