The G-Wagon has long served the masses as a reliable vehicle that offers plenty of space and comfort. Heck, many global celebrities have been spotted at a Mercedes Benz showroom as they enquire on the G-Wagon.
The German carmaker has made it clear that they will be making a lot of adjustments on the upcoming G-Wagon. Now, word has it that the upcoming G-Wagon will get a mini variant.
Known as the GLB, the wagon will be coming with 7-seats and a longer wheelbase. The GLB will have a more compact look as it will get measurements from the B-Class department. In addition to that, the GLB will still impress the world with its performance, which is based on the GLA.
The GLB will be powered by a 3-cylinder mill with the option of a diesel variant. Both engines will be developed by Renault and will be mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
All in all, the GLB will surely be the next big thing to come from Mercedes and it is expected to make its debut in 2019. Then again, Mercedes might just release the concept model soon enough.
