Oppo 7 Android & Its 50MP Rear Camera Is A Case Of Lost In Translation

We have seen Oppo Find 7 images revealed before the official launch in China this month. They have shown us the exterior design of the Find 7 which comes with a glass and metallic frame with LED notifications that have a crescent shape at the bottom of the device.

Oppo set the official launch of the Find 3 handset as happening on 19 March in China and invitations have gone out by way of a black box which contains a pyramid, a QR codes and map of the venue.

The images of the Find 7 were seen on Red Dot and showed all of the body of the handset including the design scheme. Android Authority saw the images before they were taken down from the website. The Find 7 comes in two variations, one having a display of 2k with resolution of 2560 x 1440 and the other a display which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The 2k device will have the quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and support for TD-LTE 4G wireless.

The rumours about the 50MP camera have been turned down by reports recently.

A recent report said that the Oppo Find 7 would come with a camera of 13MP instead of the 50MP that was rumoured.

In total eight images were leaked and one of them showed off the power of the Oppo Find 7s camera when taking photos in daylight and low light.

The Oppo Find 7 will launch in two different variants after its official launch on 19 March. There will be differences in the processor, the RAM and the screen display quality.

High-Class Variant – Features 2K 2560 x 1440 display resolution, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3 GB of RAM.
Entry-Level Variant – Features 1080p or 1920 x 1080 display resolution, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and 2 GB of RAM.

A recent leak suggested that the entry level 1080p with come in at $570.
