It won’t be much longer now before fans of Samsung will be able to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S5. However plans for the launch of KitKat 4.4 on the Samsung Galaxy S3 are still going ahead.
If a leaked roadmap can be believed then the Samsung Galaxy S3 is going to be updated and will join the Samsung Galaxy S4 in getting the KitKat 4.4 update.
The update is said to be coming but right now we have no idea as to when it might arrive. The roadmap does suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is to get the update and join the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini along with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.
Other devices from Samsung which will get the update include the Samsung Galaxy Mega, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the Samsung S4 Active.
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 tablets and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.7.0 will also be getting KitKat 4.4.
As those who own the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3 have already started to get the update it should not be too long before it arrives on the Samsung Galaxy S3.
