Over the last two major motor shows, we noticed Nissan showing off its Sports Sedan Concept. Now, the Japanese Carmaker has confirmed that the study will be the base model for the next Maxima.
Nissan’s Executive Vice President, Andy Palmer, revealed that the Maxima won’t stray away from the concept’s design cues. The lad also admitted that the company brought out the Sports Sedan Concept to test the public’s reaction before coming to a decision.

Obviously, the decision has already been made and Andy further clarified that the next Maxima is aimed at the new batch of licence holders. After all, the company wish to stamp a new corporate identity to the new generation of drivers.
On the other hand, Nissan didn’t go into detail with the Maxima. Just recently, the company did something insane by giving the Juke R some powers from the GT-R. We expect something similar to come under the Maxima’s hood.
