Next Minecraft Game To Be Bundled With Windows?

We have heard a rumour going around that Microsoft are about to unveil a deal to buy Minecraft for $2.5 billion. So could this suggest that the next Minecraft game to come out will come bundled with a new copy of Windows?

You would have to give some thought to the fact on if they did this how would they make the money back that they had paid for the Minecraft name, if they were giving it away. But then they could have bought it for potential sequels or for the trademark.

You also have to remember that Microsoft isn’t buying just a game; they will have bought a whole generation of games. Another point to consider is that the minecraft name is more than a game as it is the focus of many things that have gamers of all generations enthralled.

Minecraft is where the young people are along with older generations and Microsoft are going to want to get in on that. The same happened when Facebook bought Occulus Rift, to make sure that if VR did become as big as what was being suggested, they would have a part in it.

Microsoft will be buying something that 12 year olds play now and when those 12 year olds become 18 they will then hopefully become fans of Microsoft, due to them being associated with a game they played when they were younger.
