Mass Effect 4 promises to be huge, and it should also be out very soon! The developer, BioWare, has been quite firm about the fact that Commander Shepard and anyone associated with him will not be featuring in this fourth instalment.
BioWare Montreal’s studio director, Yanick Roy, tells us that it’ll still be great, even without Shepard and his friends. This fourth episode will retain the distinctive gameplay of the previous episodes, which reassured the fans.
The storyline will be brilliant as well – complex and cinematic. OK, lots of people will miss Shepard, but he had to go – his time was done and to drag things out further would spoil the story.
So, this’ll be a fab game, but what features can we look forward to? Roy said that the alien races will be more diverse, and that the galaxy would be bigger. We don’t know when the game is set – whether it’s pre or post-Shepard. It could be during his time but set among people who don’t know him…
We’re sure that Bioware has got some serious fun in store for us, and we can’t wait to get started.
