Rumours are rife in claiming that Mercedes-Benz is poised to develop a new challenger to the Audi TT and it will be an A-Class vehicle that is built on the FWD system. The future vehicle too will be structured like a coupe or a roadster.
In detail, the rumours claim that the future A-Class will be replacing the FWD SLK and it will be coming in two variants. The first is a convertible where a soft top makes up the roof while the second will be a pure breed roadster.
If the rumours are right, then there is no doubt that the future A-Class is going to be a massive booster in Mercedes’ plans to overtake BMW and become the world’s leading premium carmaker.
