It is always nice to see everything you love snowballed into a single epicenter. That is the case with the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft. The first Minecraft to debut on the console has been added with a Marvel skin pack and the reception is off the charts.
Microsoft Studios producer, Roger Carpenter, saw the success of this Marvel skin pack for Minecraft and immediately approached the Marvel team itself for their feedback on the matter. Roger expressed on his Twitter that the Marvel team liked the Marvel Avenger Skin Pack.
Of course, Carpenter’s travel wasn’t just for the feedback. Other discussions have taken place as well and it is unknown on what they were about since the curtains are closed. The fans are assuming that the success with the Skin Pack might have Carpenter trying to get more heroes to add to it or simply to acquire rights for the similar to be made for Xbox One.
The Sony PS3 had just got its own version of Minecraft and the fans are calling for the same feature to come to their version of the game. It is clear that the fans want to have Marvel suits for their characters in the game. Carpenter wouldn’t be able to help them. After all, the lad is a Microsoft employee.
At the moment, 4J Studio is busy creating Minecraft for both the PS4 and Xbox One. With this ‘superhero’ craze going on, the game developer might just acquire the rights and add these skin packs to the game.
