Who knew that Marvel heroes can be part of the highly popular open world sandbox game, Minecraft? The latest Marvel Skin pack has been added to the Xbox 360 version of the game and it has been a major hit ever since.
Microsoft Studio producer, Roger Carpenter, saw the success of this Marvel Skin Pack and immediately came out knocking on the doors of Marvel itself. It appears that Roger wanted to get feedback from the Marvel team themselves and the response was a positive one.
Stating on the lad’s Twitter, Roger revealed that the Marvel Team loved every bit of the skin pack.
Aside from getting the skin pack, Roger took the opportunity to hold a discussion behind closed curtains. It is unknown on what Microsoft is negotiating but fans revealed that the company could be looking to add more heroes or simply trying to acquire rights for the skin pack.
The PS3 community, who’ve just got their hands on Minecraft are also calling for a similar skin pack in their game. The popularity of Marvel heroes are like no other and PS3 players are demanding for them in their game.
At the moment, 4J Studio is really busy developing Minecraft for both the Xbox One and PS4. It is unsure if both consoles will get the skin pack.
With Roger sealing up a deal, the chances for Marvel Skin pack to be added in Sony’s consoles are really slim. The only way for it to happen if its 4J Studio personally adds in the Marvel Skin packs in future DLCs.
