At first, it was thought that there isn’t a clear difference between 1080p image and that of 720p but apparently, there is. Screenshots of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5 has arrived on the internet and there is a clear difference between the 1080p version and the 720p version of the game.
Looking at the images, the 720p lacks that sharpness offered by the 1080p. The image is much more blurry and pixellated which can be a turnoff to the gamers. As for the 1080p, the crispy sharp image is nothing like gamers have seen before.
In the 720p version, the shadows are rougher just like how it was described by Hideo Kojima. The director was referring to Metal Gear Solid 5 for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
As for the next-gen consoles, fans can expect a high quality gaming experience. One image showed the borders of a prison-liked area. The fences are built with barbed wire on them and in the night, with every spotlight passing, the wires got portrayed magnificently.
Above all that, Metal Gear Solid 5 will look to give the next-gen players a breathtaking view of Solid Snake’s world. Until the game gets released, fans can only wait on for the official launching of Metal Gear Solid 5.
