Mass Effect fans have been gathering on Reddit to talk about what they want to see in Mass Effect 4. It’s a long old list of wants, given that BioWare is already developing the game.
The fans want Mass Effect 4 to be a sequel rather than a prequel. The destruction at the end of Mass Effect 3 could be used as a jump-off point for a whole new angle, with Shepard’s fate remaining unknown.
The gamers also want the main character to be either a human, or a Krogan, a Quarian a Salarian or an Asari. However, if the players’ ME3 save file has them stored as dead, then maybe not a Krogan or a Quarian. Redditors think that Mass Effect 4 should be focused on a non-human.
They also really want a good villain, one that everyone will love to hate. They’re not averse to a bit of romance, either, as most other sci-fi games have a bit here and there.
More playable races are also on the wishlist. BioWare could make it possible for gamers to play two or three different races. Characters need to be solid and have a more social side to them. This might involve a lot of work, though, which would take BioWare longer to deliver the game.
These are just a few suggestions from Mass Effect fans – it’s still in the beta stage, so gamers are wishing and hoping that BioWare is listening.
