Fans of the Mass Effect franchise have no clue whatsoever on the things coming into Mass Effect 4. In spite of that, they have gathered and discussed on what they wish to see in the upcoming sequel.
For a start, Bioware should make more races being playable. The fans would love to play as a Yahg or some other race.
As for the plot, Bioware made it clear that Mass Effect 4 will be a restart to the franchise. A new protagonist on a new adventure will be in place. Of course, things will take place in the same Mass Effect universe.
With this in mind, fans are wondering if Mass Effect 4 will be set in a time before, during or after Commander Shepard. Having a prequel will kill all elements of surprises. If the game is set at the same time, it will contradict with the players’ choices in the first trilogy. As such, fans believe it will take place far into the future where players will engage in a war with Dominion.
Of course, this is coming from the fans’ point-of-view. Even they can’t wait for Bioware to reveal more about the game. What would you like to see in Mass Effect 4?
