The world today is full of competitions and accomplishments to achieve. There is no longer the restriction of the best snatching all the awards. In the latest Consumerist’s Worst Company in America, BioWare is relief that EA got eliminated from it.
The game distributor was crowned the worst company in America for the past two years. It was about to become a three in a row but EA got eliminated by Time Warner Cable. The result was a close shave for EA which scored 48.8% compared to 51.2% by Time Warner Cable.
The competition is a vote-based tournament where consumers decide which company is worse. It is logical for EA to win for the past two years as players have to suffer the poor ending in Mass Effect 3. There is also the DRM issue with SimCity that has turned the fans against EA.
It was thought that EA will be crowned the worst company yet again with the extremely poor Battlefield 4 game. Fortunately, the company got away with it.
The competition is expected to be a wake-up call for the game developer to take the fans seriously. EA may have blasted BioWare for making Mass Effect 3 poor and with this; fans can smile as Mass Effect 4 will definitely blossom to a great title ahead.
