Maserati To Acquire More Feminine Friends

Maserati’s buyers are mostly males, but according to Maserati Australia COO, Glen Sealey, this pattern is gradually changing. This can be seen to the Maserati Ghibi, which has more female buyers than its big brother, Quattroporte that was introduced last year.

Sealey further said that their average buyer was 98 per cent male in 2010 between 49-50 years old. Today, we’re seeing a change at the age different and also to the gender of the buyers. For Maserati Gran Cabrio, 35 per cent of its buyers are female.

However, Quattroporte is still dominated by male buyers. If Maserati is able to get 10 per cent female buyers, it will be better. Back in 2010, almost all of Maserati’s audience were entrepreneurs; they were owners of their business.

Now, what the company is seeing is there are more CEOs, CFOs and paid individuals coming to buy a Maserati. We hope that the carmaker achieves its target of getting more female users to buy their cars.
