The acquisition of Mahindra from SsangYong commenced a brand new era for the world of SUV. Just recently, the world witnessed the SsangYong Rexton getting unveiled and soon, the attention will be on the Komodo.
Images of the SUV have already been released and truly, it looks spectacular. Some might mistake it for a Scorpio but the Komodo is so much more than that. The design was created by IED Torino Graduate, Markrand Patil, and he claims that the Komodo completely symbolize Mahindra.
Patil explained that he thought about the Indian market where a car has to appeal a mid-age individual who is in his own business or could just be a son, a family guy to a sport enthusiast. The Komodo will be really sturdy and should set a benchmark in capability, authenticity in design and function.
Patil further revealed that the Komodo is his dream of combining the authentic Mahindra DNA with its more evolved ones and make the Ultimate Mahindra.
The design was made when Patil was collaborating with Mahindra at IED and the national carmaker has already showed its desire to materialize it.
