LG Nexus 6 May Not Come To Fruition (Report)

Over the past couple of weeks, there has been plenty of buzz on the upcoming Google Nexus 6 regardless of the fact that the Nexus 5 is still fresh in the market. Tech gizmos are excited on the outcome of the Nexus 6 since it will be the last Nexus smartphone coming to our shelves.

As developments are about to begin, plenty of changes have been made on the Nexus 6 blueprint. For a start, LG won’t be manufacturing the upcoming smartphone. It got passed on to Motorola.

Just as things are about to settle, Lenovo is currently buying out Motorola from Google. At the moment, negotiations are proceeding and the deal is about to be sealed. If everything will go according to plan, Lenovo might offer Google its service to develop the Nexus 6.

Since Motorola is currently owned by Google and the Nexus 6 will be the last Nexus in the line, Lenovo could very well give Motorola full rights to manufacture the Nexus 6.

LG has been the chassis of most Nexus smartphones. This will look to change. Perhaps, the Nexus 6 will tail the Moto X. On the other hand, the Nexus 6 could also be based on the K900 if Lenovo takes full control of the project.

At first, it seems unlikely. After more official word came out on Lenovo pushing to buy Motorola from Google, things are beginning to shape up. With that in mind, it is safe to assume that the Nexus 6 will be a Lenovo-Motorola smartphone.
