It is possible that the LG G2 might still be getting its Marshmallow update after all as new reports suggest that some carriers might still be working on an update for the old LG flagship smartphone.
It was reported that the Verizon LG G2 was spotted getting benchmarked and that the device was benchmarked with the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS suggesting that the update might be on its way after all.
According to the benchmark test results, the LG G2 is powerful enough to take on the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with a benchmark score of 2728. Even if the LG G2 ends up not getting the update from LG or the carrier, there is a high chance that the developers will come out with a custom ROM for the device.
The question now is how long will be have to wait for the update to arrive?
