LG G2: Android 5.0 Lollipop Is Out!

The LG G2 is a week away from receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop but it does not mean that G2 users have to wait until then to enjoy Google’s latest OS. Apparently, XDA’s Rashed97 has already launched a custom ROM containing the Lollipop for the LG G2 about a fortnight ago.

The custom ROM is compatible with the G2 D800, D801, D802, LS980, and VS980 models and it will give users a stock Lollipop experience. The downside to this is that the custom ROM is still in its early build and there are some issues with it.

Rashed97 was courteous enough to share that the issues with the Android 5.0 Lollipop is limited to the GPS and video playback functions. However, the LS/VS980 variants have and added issue and it involves the cellular network.
