Turtle Rock don’t have any attachment and this has fans wondering what is going to happen to Left 4 Dead 3.
The game isn’t coming out at any time in the near future; Phil Robb from Turtle Rock said that they are creating a new IP, Evolve. This is said to be along the lines of Left 4 Dead and gamers are going to have to work at overcoming tasks and challenges.
Phil said that Evolve was Turtle Rocks first game idea, but it was something that didn’t go as far as it should have as Valve had restrictions. Now that they have broken up, Evolve could go onto materialise.
Phil was also talking about the Left 4 Dead franchise and he mentioned that they have finished with the series and went on to say that now Turtle Rock has gone on to do something else. Fans have been showing disappointment about this and think that maybe Turtle Rock has become infected with the disease of Valve, not making trilogies.
Phil didn’t say that they were not making Left 4 Dead 3, so perhaps we could see it at some point. Perhaps once Turtle Rock has finished with Evolve.
